Srezojevci sits in a remote mountainous region of Serbia with no public grid access. Local factories, a medical clinic, hotels, and laboratories had long depended on diesel generators — incurring high fuel costs, unstable voltage, and frequent service interruptions.

The site also had to serve a diverse, high-inrush load profile — lathes, air compressors, and other motor-driven equipment — that demanded a system with strong overload and surge handling. Hua Power designed a fully off-grid solar–storage–diesel microgrid to replace diesel-only operation with clean, stable, cost-effective power.

From Diesel Dependency
to Clean Energy.

A comprehensive hybrid microgrid in the remote mountainous region of Srezojevci, Serbia. Previously dependent on diesel generators, the area now has clean, reliable power serving factories, medical clinics, hotels, and laboratories.

The system integrates 180kW PV, 645kWh battery storage, a 150kW off-grid inverter, and diesel backup. Primary loads total approximately 103kW, including hotel facilities, medical equipment, lighting, machine tools, air compressors, and motor equipment.
